I mostly watch YouTube on my smart TV, but sometimes I cast from my phone to a Chromecast. The playback is usually smooth, though every now and then it buffers for a few seconds. I've noticed the audio and video sync can be a tiny bit off on my older laptop when playing 4K content, but on my tablet it's perfect.
